Escape Room: Please Save Human's Hair

All work and no play makes Dr. Houdini a bald man… and also a threat to all human’s hair.

Agents, it's now your time to save human's hair.

Project Description

Our escape room is based on the theme of “wig”. It features the story of Dr. Houdini, who is so obsessed with his research, but unfortunately lost all his hair, and finally became bald due to heavy brainwork. He puts on his wig and pretends everything goes as usual. However, one day the wig got lost. Mad as the doctor is, he utilizes his time machine, as well as genetic engineering knowledge to make all the humans bald, which is a disaster to all of us.

In this adventure, players need to find the wig and other special items within a limited amount of time, in order to save the hair of all humans.

Based on the discussion, we designed 5 major puzzles based on the story of a crazy doctor.

Playtime: 30 minutes

Play Goals: To save all human’s hair, the players need to collect the precious germinal gene, as well as find the wig of Dr.Houdini to restart the time machine.

DOCTOR'S DIARY

" i got a new shelf in my office and so decided to put some decorations on it. Some painting would be great.

I first ordered copy of that famous smiling women. My colleagues thought she smiles beautifully but I felt it is more like sneering instead of smiling.

Then it is the one with a women lying in the river... My colleagues said this painting can remind me of taking a nap after working for 30 hours. Otherwise, I would die like her.

I like the next one with one human being and three animals. From my POV, most of human beings (except me) are just like uncivilized monkeys. When would they evolve and have clear brains?

The last one is a photo of me and my happy friends.

Well, I have to say that posture is stupid.

Puzzle01: "We are all bold in Masterpieces"

-Players get special passcode by using special card to deduct info from "masterpieces".

Instruction for Use

Each week, Dr. uses two bottles of each type of tonic
Each day, Dr. uses two bottles as one combination and would NOT use the same combination that week
Dr. only uses mineral products on Mondays
Tuesdays and Thursdays are environmental protection days. To prevent anger of the landlord, Dr. only uses herbal products
Conditioner and hair growth serum can not be used on the same day
On Wednesday, there is a department meeting. To show off his handsomeness, Dr. uses two conditioners.
Hair Growth Serum G grows hair at a rate of 1 feet per hour. Dr. is so ecstatic tha he decides to use two bottles of G on Saturdays…but all grown hair falls out the next day:(
On Sundays, Dr. finally remembers that he needs to work the next day, so he uses two shampoos.
