Project Description
Verse: No. 1555' is an interactive online experience that visualizes users' personal memories of Century Avenue 1555 (NYU Shanghai campus). Through the web-based VR & mobile AR portal, users can access the virtual building of NYU Shanghai, while seeing other people's memory that they created in the virtual space.
The project contains our memorieses (and hopefully yours too) of our academic building in a virtual format. NYUSH community members can revisit these memories at any time and encounter stories that happened in the real Century Avenue No. 1555.
Project Concept: "Non-Essential"
Human Stories = Grand Narratives + Non -Essential stories

Grand Narrative on human history
"Non-essential" life moments filled with emotion
Our project focused on those “non-essential" life moments that seems subtle compared to the grand narratives of human history. We would like to convey the idea that: The "non-essential" stories matters.
Project Inspiration & Aesthetics

"Strands"

As all of our teammembers are fan of the game Death Stranding, we utlizes the concepts of strands as starting point of our visual references. This fits with our goal of connecting the community with virtual memories.
